Welcome to Gyp's Pals. Gyp, my Working Sheep Dog (above), completed his Gold Award with the Kennel Club's Good Citizen Dog Scheme on 2nd June 2007 and since then we've been missing all our pals, hence this website.

Hiya Pals, how you all doing in this heat wave? I am really feeling the effect, dad says it's tougher on black dogs but I don't know? I haven't been eating properly, in fact I was ill on my walk this morning, vomited up bright yellow so mumsy took me to the vet just to make sure I wasn't ailing for anything else. A big well done to the vet who managed to take my temperature, hmm must be off-colour for her to achieve that ha ha!!

Anyway, I'm getting fed lollies made in my kong toys with hidden biscuits to entice me more! Problem is, I'm not allowed to go for a proper walk or chase my ball until the heat subsides, not very happy about that!!

Mum's been doing my teeth, it feels like she's putting her fingers practically down my throat to try and reach my back teeth!!! On the plus side, at least my toothpaste doesn't foam up or I'd be looking like a mad dog in the heat and she'd be dragging me back to the vet ha ha!!
